Bluff Spring Fen--This land is designated as one of the highest quality natural areas in the state.  It is a rare fen, a type of wetland fed by mineral springs . 450 plant species, 57 butterfly species and more than 20 dragonfly species have been seen here.  Almost 100 migratory birds nest here.

Enter through Bluff City Cemetery (https://www.cityofelgin.org/2105/Bluff-City-Cemetery)  Turn south on Central, left on Spring Grove to the south end of the cemetery.  Park on the right side of the road to allow traffic flow.
